Andaman Nicobar Environment Team
The Andaman Nicobar Environment Team (ANET) field station is a multidisciplinary research hub, environmental conservation and education centre in the Andaman Islands that is owned and operated by Dakshin Foundation.
ANET’s aim is to address issues of contemporary significance to the islands and to develop effective conservation strategies based on a sound understanding of the islands’ diverse social-ecological systems.
Our research can be categorised within broad interlinked focus themes of marine, terrestrial and community while our interventions focus on livelihood, schools, workshops, training and policy.
